Blood Drinker
The Kind Hearted King
  • strength:
  • versatility:
  • potential:
  • What was originally meant to be a gift of the purest heart went wrong. Because of becoming a vampire, his gift came out strange: he has a third needle-like fang from within his tongue that injects his victims with an anandamide neurotransmitter that takes over the endocannabinoid system to replace the pain of puncture. For as long as he feeds on someone, their mind and body is filled with peace and pleasure, as if a drug with only benefits is filling them. It has also restructured his body to generate healing in his saliva, which lets him run his tongue as he comes up off feeding to heal the wounds completely.

The gift of his heart is what created the existence of such an omega of the vampire, as well. Because of it, he has an ability to control feeding and the natural gift of a heartbeat that gives him greater strength than other vampires in existence, or vampire-like creatures, without the same measures of weakness. He is also bound to his best friend and creator completely, the original nature of his gift that allowed the magic to take him over and change him. The Vampire is also a bit of a paradox as both dead and alive, allowing the curse to be done with his life while continuing on his bloodline.

    Fortunate Feeder, Vampire Lord
  • strength:
  • versatility:
  • potential:
  • The first and strongest of his kind, he is an absolute primal being which means there are no other vampires in the same way as him, with the same capabilities, and should any be born of his blood or bite he will always be the supreme. Because of the curse and gift of the vampire, he is not reliant on blood to survive but does require blood to access any gift of the vampire. Without blood, he is like his normal self with an intense flu; he looks haggard and ill but functions without any threat of death, as he is undying unless spellbroken, and with the blood he becomes the apex predator of a supreme order capable of accessing magic, illusions, night gifts and an absolutely supreme condition of self.

Blood magic comes easiest, providing a capacity for using blood spilled even at his weakest, unfed state, with ease. Other forms of magic are all available to him if he learns to use it; this means he's essentially a novice right now, learning from Ten more than anyone else, and leagues behind him at that. He also has potential access to psionics but currently only accesses hypnotism, illusions and telepathy with ease. His shrouding is absolute, removing him from photographs, film, memories and all traces of supernatural senses at will — he still has a reflection he can just choose not to — and his will is a product of his true requite that has not faded, making him unbreakable because he wills it so.

As for feeding, there are rules. He needs to feed on five liters of blood every month, though he has been so far able to regulate not needing it all in succession but rather drawn out over time. Because he can take up to 15% of every blood pool in a human body without harm he would do best to feed off multiple people over time, rather than slow draining one. Thanks to the intuition of the hunter, he is kept aware of how much he can drain from a person without hurting them. With no intent to convert, he understands how the process would happen, as well, by the nature of him.

    Fed Upon, Converted Children
  • strength:
  • versatility:
  • potential:
  • While created with the ability to overcome all limitations to gain survivability gifts those born of his blood would have limits. Like him, they would all be capable of daywalking so long as they were properly fed, though they would be more sensitive to light than he is; they would also all be able to mesmerize and charm, access blood magic and move with the shadows when necessary. Their shapeshifting would limit, however, to three basic forms: bat, ghost dog or the panther where he can shift into anything and communicate with all animals.

As for the blood dolls: upon being fed on, the donor is healed with his saliva (or other bodily fluids) which affords them a bond to him unique to any other. They firstly gain an enhanced condition for seventy two hours that leaves them beyond the peak levels of their normal human capacity, functioning at their own highest order. Gifts tapper off after seventy two hours, taking an extra twelve to remove the lingering mental connection for the one-night-feed. What remains, however, is a bond to the vampire that means they can communicate with him with ease; he would be able to respond if they were in danger, and they can call out to him when in need. People fed on just once or twice can't access this in the slightest, but his regular dolls can and do make use of this gift.

Blood's taste is affected by a select number of properties. Empathy, personality and habits tend to affect the taste far more than blood type or position of blood from the body. To him the blood of thighs or breasts isn't any more rich than an arm or side. Instead, the blood of a cold blooded ceo hits the tongue like an aged brandy while an angry bodybuilder who has a habit of violent arrests tastes more like smoked barbecue ribs. People are all unique, even when similar enough, and their taste is dependent on factors even the vampire can't completely estimate in prediction.

    Weaknesses & Immunities

Only two weaknesses exist in the bloodline originating in the vampire's veins:

     — Rosaceae: roses in any and all forms; crushed rose petals can dilute magic and hinder spells which affects the vampire's gift inherently. because of this they are his only natural weakness: though he cannot die, a rose through his heart would keep him in a dead-like stasis until it were removed, and weapons dripped in rose water or crushed rose can burn him. rose in products bothers his skin, causing burns, blemishes and breakouts, and the scent of them makes him sneeze and has his eyes water. so, he gets to pretend it's an awful allergy.

     — Ten's Magic: because it created him, only Ten's magic can manipulate the vampire outside of his will. The witch can throw him into walls, remove his ability to speak, and even make him submit with snaps of ther fingers. they can kill him, too, and is the only being that can actually do so, should he ever learn to undo spells he's created without understanding them in the first place.

    Witch, Spellcaster, Child of Morrigan
  • strength:
  • versatility:
  • potential:
  • A witch so powerful they derive magic only from themselves, Ten is what is known in some cultures a Child of Morrigan — a blood that is refined through generations that once lingered around the creators of magic and folklore. More directly, Ten is a voodoo queen, gifted with an inherent right to control magic. Ten's gifts reacted to desire without any real understanding of the nature of spell working originally, for years. The very nature of magic is under Ten's influence and over time he became a witch so powerful as to run new lines of mysticism through future ages.

Ten's book taught him all he ever needed to learn and understand, and it is filled with recipes for potions, charms and spells he's created and learned himself along the way. There were 15 direct people whose magic manifested so powerfully in such a local spot as to create the nature of Lousiana Voodoo itself and Ten was one of them. A 'Queen', blessed by Loa and creating influence over new versions of would-be gods whose visages are still worshiped and adored today, Ten is the last of the living Queens to start New Orleans magic and as such, is immensly powerful and influential over magic itself.

    Book of Shadows, Glorious Knowledge
  • strength:
  • versatility:
  • potential:
  • With Ten's requite came the inheritence: a book, born of Ten's own magic, that reacted, responded and educated Ten on all mystical courses, lessons and reasoning. While the grimoire cannot literally respond to people it does react to Ten and those Ten likes; this means it can open to give spells to those in need when Ten feels they are worthy. But it also has its own personality which, at times, means knowing to bite back magic from Ten when treats it poorly. It also means being all blank pages when it wants to be, all random quotes from other books to respond to Ten's wild demands or, sometimes, just being a cook book instead.

It is sonorous with Ten which means that the book can fly to Ten, manifest in far off places and, in essence, never, ever be taken from him without permission. Only Ten can call the book and no one may stop it from coming to him.
